About

My name is Katrina Ginis.  I am an artist and student currently residing in Melbourne.  Painting, drawing and the visual arts in their many and varied manifestations have been a source of fascination and an integral part of my identity for as long as I can remember.  I have a Bachelor of Arts/Visual Arts (Honours, Psychology) from Monash University. I am currently a Doctoral candidate within the School of Psychological Sciences at Monash University.

In 2012, I was shortlisted for Top Arts and attained a perfect score of 50 and a Premier’s Award for my secondary school studies in Art.  I was a finalist in the 2015 Manning Art Prize and  have exhibited my work at the Manning Regional Gallery, The Gallery Voltaire, The Black Cat Gallery and The Linden Gallery.  I was also awarded the Tolarno Hotel’s annual acquisitive prize for 2015.

I am willing to take private commissions for original works, portraits and freelance illustrative projects.
